What is the fear of God?
What we do
- We trust in God (Ps 115:11)
- We turn away from evil (Prov 16:6)
- We pay attention to His works (Ps 8:3-4, Rom 1:19-20)
- We obey His word (Ecc 12:13-14)
- We meet and exchange (Mal 3:16)
- We have no earthly fear (Isa 8:12)
Our rewards
- We are valued by the Lord (Ps 147:11)
- We are blessed (Ps 115:13)
- God has compassion on us (Ps 103:13)
- Our lives are prolonged (Prov 10:27, Prov 14:27)
- Our desires are fulfilled (Ps 145:19, 1 Jo 5:14-15)
- We receive mercy (Lk 1:50)
